Calm design for a lively landscape
A new green space has taken shape along Siuntiontie in the town of Siuntio – a carefully designed stormwater wetland that now serves both environmental and recreational purposes. Originally developed to collect and manage rainwater runoff from nearby residential areas, the wetland has been thoughtfully landscaped into a public park, complete with trees, meadow plantings, and a gravel path that loops around the site.
As part of this transformation, ABAU DESIGN delivered several benches from our LOVIISA collection – seating that reflects the peaceful character of the location while providing a durable and aesthetic solution for everyday use.
With their airy, contemporary design and timeless materials, LOVIISA benches blend into natural environments like this one. Whether you pause here during a walk, sit and listen to the birds, or simply take in the changing seasons, the benches offer a calm place to connect with your surroundings.
Originally created for a coastal residential area in the city of Loviisa, this collection takes inspiration from the lightness of seaside landscapes.
