Herrasmanni beach, Lahti
Located on the tranquil shores of Alasenjärvi, Herrasmanni Beach is part of a larger recreational and camping area in Lahti – a hidden gem that comes alive in the summer. We’ve contributed to its renewal with a customised installation from our NAANTALI collection.
Designed in collaboration with the City of Lahti, this updated version of NAANTALI includes benches, loungers, and picnic sets tailored specifically to the site. The vibrant yellow steel elements bring a joyful, summery energy to the waterfront setting, while the design language keeps a light urban edge – a subtle reminder that the city centre is only 15 minutes away.
Built for scenic locations like beaches, lakesides and parks, the NAANTALI collection balances durability with visual warmth. Its clean lines and contemporary silhouette work effortlessly in natural environments. For Herrasmanni, we focused on ease of maintenance and long-term functionality – ensuring that the furniture stays inviting season after season.
This project is a great example of how we co-create with our clients – adapting existing collections or developing something entirely new to meet the needs of each location.
