BODOM Grill – Designed for Shared Outdoor Moments
Robust, functional, and beautifully simple, BODOMl brings warmth and togetherness to outdoor spaces – from public parks and hiking trails to courtyards and recreational areas.
Its smart design combines durability with practicality: the hooded structure ensures efficient airflow and directs smoke, while three rotating racks positioned at different heights allow for heating multiple dishes at once. Each rack can be easily turned aside, letting you control heat intensity and access food from all angles – perfect for social cooking and shared meals outdoors.
Built for real-life use, every detail of the BODOM’s made to last. All wear parts can be replaced when needed, ensuring long-term performance in demanding public environments.
Surface finishes
Corten steel
The grill is made of corten steel, which requires no painting or surface treatment. Initially dark, corten quickly forms a rust-like patina that protects the steel from further corrosion. The tone deepens over time to a rich, even brown. Scratches and dents naturally self-heal as the patina reforms, and the surface can be cleaned or sanded if needed – it will repatinate within days.
Though corten is slightly more expensive than regular steel, it is ultimately more economical in the long run, requiring no upkeep.
Painted steel
The steel surfaces can also be coated with heat-resistant paint in your preferred colours. The coating endures heat and weather well, developing a natural patina of use over time. Minor scratches add character, but if the paint layer is deeply damaged, small touch-ups will protect the surface from rust.
Durable, timeless, and easy to maintain, BODOM enhances any outdoor environment — inviting people to gather, cook, and enjoy the simple pleasures of being outdoors. And thanks to its adaptable design language, BODOM can be seamlessly paired with furniture from any ABAU DESIGN collection – to create a cohesive and inviting outdoor environment.
