The shelters can stand on their own or be attached to a wall.


The core material is steel (corten, galvanized and/or painted). The roof can be made e.g. of safety glass or corrugated sheets. Also green roofs fit bike sheds perfectly!  In pergola-type implementations the roof can be made with wooden beams.


The space for vegetation can be increased by making the walls out of steel wire mesh, which plants can grab onto. Why not also line the walls with planter pots and benches?
