For Ruokolahti’s new event square – a venue designed as a focal point for gatherings and leisure – ABAU DESIGN has provided benches from our LOVIISA and STOORI collections. Together, they bring elegance and adaptability to a space that will serve as a meeting point for the local community.
The LOVIISA benches, with their airy and contemporary design, add a sense of lightness and refinement. Originally created for Loviisa’s Kuningattarenranta residential area, the collection is known for its ability to blend effectively with both modern and natural settings. Durable steel frames, paired with high-quality wooden elements, ensure that these benches will age gracefully and withstand changing seasons.
Complementing them are STOORI modular benches in circular configurations. STOORI is our most flexible seating system, designed to adapt to any layout or function. In Ruokolahti, the curved benches create a welcoming form that invites people to gather, sit together, and enjoy the open space – whether during events or in everyday use.
