IISALMI collection in Tapiola, Espoo

In a residential neighbourhood in Tapiola, Espoo, a pastel green IISALMI bench has become part of the everyday landscape, surrounded by mature trees, open lawns and shared outdoor spaces.

The soft green colour gives the bench a light, welcoming character. Against the greenery of the park it feels almost effortless, while near the buildings and playground it introduces a subtle touch of colour that complements the landscape.

The IISALMI collection reinterprets the clean, timeless lines of classic public furniture through a more contemporary and inclusive approach. Comfortable proportions, accessible seating height and a welcoming design make the collection suitable for people of different ages and abilities, whether in residential courtyards, parks or other shared public spaces.

Dimensions of IISALMI products can be tailored to suit each project, while steel frames are available galvanised or painted, and timber components can be finished in a wide range of RAL colours. A simple colour choice can completely transform the character of the collection. Here in Tapiola, the pastel green finish gives the bench a fresh, almost nostalgic expression that quietly recalls the optimistic colours of the mid-20th century while feeling perfectly at home in today's landscape.
