Kalevankangas cemetery, Tampere

The waste bins at the cemetery were still functional but looked battered, with the paint surface patched up unevenly over the years. Within the surroundings of the old Kalevankangas cemetery the bins looked untidy and spoiled the general restful spirit of the beautiful solemn graveyard. 

Covers crafted from corten steel provided a calming and unifying touch to the landscape. These covers are elegantly simple and timeless, enduring the bumps of regular use and varying weather conditions.
